Overview
The objective is the development of tools and applications enabling the production of interactive TV programs featuring all kinds of mixing of real and virtual scenes and actors. Some specific applications will be developed, tested and broadcasted: interactive drama, interactive presenter and defensive driving. MIRALab’s main involvement is in creating the virtual talking presenter. We also develop together with LIG, an interactive system named VHD that allows to simulate real-time virtual humans in virtual environments. This system is used for television applications.
MIRALab’s contribution
Our participation in the interactive drama will involve some modeling and animation of characters, in addition to software development.
