About us
MIRALab@UNIGE (miralab.ch) . Founded in 1989 by Professor Nadia Magnenat Thalmann, MIRALab researchers are coming from various disciplines as computer science, engineering, design, medical field, social robotics, multimedia and data science. Since its creation, MIRALab provides truly interdisciplinary research.
MIRALab has been participating in more than 70 EU and national projects, and has produced more than 700 scientific papers as well as obtained several Award for its films and videos. MIRALab research is mainly in 3D virtual patient simulation, virtual coach, social robots, internet of things, and also cultural heritage (https://www.youtube.com/user/MIRALab/videos). MIRALab organizes many conferences and workshops as Computer Graphics International (CGI) and Computer Animation and Social Agents (CASA). MIRALab is working under the Centre Universitaire d’informatique of the University of Geneva.
